The Central Vicariate comprises five canonical parishes and 24 worship centres.

There are four local diocesan priests assigned to the parishes in this vicariate. There are two communities of religious sisters (Holy Faith Sisters and the Franciscan Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother); 13 Catholic primary schools and two Catholic secondary schools.

The archdiocese purchased property from the Presentation Brothers; this property has been developed into The Catholic Centre for the archdiocese.
