"LUV FAMILY " . that's the message engraved on fashionable blue silicone wristbands used to promote Family Life by the Archdiocesan Family Life Commission (AFLC).

The occasion was the 16th anniversarycelebrations of the People of Praise Community of Santa Rosa parish, Arima on September 23. The actual anniversary was September 24.

The band was presented to Archbishop Edward Gilbert on behalf of the Family Life Commission by AFLC Executive member and Director of People of Praise, Winston Garcia and other men of the community.

The blue Family Life wristband is the latest venture of the AFLC which is headed by the Vicar for Family Life, Fr Robert Llanos. The bands were produced for a two-fold purpose - to stimulate awareness of the need to put family life first and secondly to raise funds to fuel the work of the commission. The wristbands cost $20.00 each and can be purchased at the following locations:
